1,000 Lb-Ft of torque?  That’s insane….  crazy even.  These things will tow almost as much a semi at a max tow setup of 35,100 pounds!  That 12″ touchscreen is pretty awesome though!  Its so big (like the one available in the 1500, see pic below) that you can split it and have controls on the bottom and your NAV screen on the top so you never have to touch a button to see the map.  That’s pretty slick and something that I think a lot of manufacturer’s are going to copy very soon.

In the American muscle car world, horsepower is king (see the new Shelby GT500 rumors), but in the heavy-duty truck world, bragging rights are all about torque. And in that area, Ram does not like to lose, which is why the 2019 Ram Heavy Duty makes a ridiculous 1,000 lb-ft of torque.
